Dual-Safe offers certified burglary protection and certified fire protection. The name says it all: The Dual-Safe from BURG-WÄCHTER provides double security. This is because the safe combines certified burglary protection with certified fire protection (fire resistance LFS 30P according to EN 15659). This means that important documents, cash, and other valuables are protected from fire and heat for up to 30 minutes in the event of a fire. Additionally, composite insulation is installed in front of the door panel to protect the lock and latch mechanism from heat. For burglary protection, the Dual-Safe is certified to the S2 standard according to DIN EN 14450. How the safe is constructed The Dual-Safe security cabinet offers many advantages for your security. The safe features a double-walled construction. Furthermore, it is protected by side locks with 25 mm thick round bolts, a sliding bolt at the top with additional puncture protection, and a rear-grip rail on the hinge side. Additionally, the hinges are located on the inside, leaving no points of attack. Dual-Safe pre-equipped for secure anchoring To prevent a safe from being easily stolen, secure anchoring is absolutely essential. To make it easy for you to anchor the Dual-Safe, the safe comes pre-equipped from the factory with two rear wall and two floor drill holes (arranged diagonally) for robust anchoring. To keep valuables and documents organized, each model comes with an adjustable shelf. Three sizes, opening via key, code, or fingerprint With the Dual-Safe, everyone can find the right model for them. This is ensured by the wide selection of three sizes and two locking systems: the classic key or an electronic door lock. The safes in the Dual-Safe series offer a capacity of 15 liters (DS 415), 27 liters (DS 425), and 50 liters (DS 445). This means the largest model can hold up to eight large file folders. Tip: If you can’t decide on a size when purchasing, it’s better to choose the larger model. Experience shows that over the years, more and more items accumulate that need to be kept safe. New “SecuTronic” electronics score high on convenience and security The modern “SecuTronic” TRSE 12 H FP safe electronics feature well-designed features for security and convenience. For example, the control panel features a slanted touch control panel with a graphic display. To activate it, simply swipe briefly over the “On” field. The control panel is then ready for use and illuminated in two colors. Opening delay and lockout times Furthermore, the slanted position ensures an optimal view even from above. Of course, you can choose the opening code freely. You have one admin code and nine user codes at your disposal. By the way, you can view the opening history directly on the display. The “SecuTronic” TRSE 12 H FP features an opening delay (max. 99 min). This means: After entering the code, the programmed time elapses before the Dual-Safe can be opened. After three incorrect codes are entered, a lockout period is activated. This prevents burglars from trying many codes. Safe opening via fingerprint A brand-new feature is the ability to open the safe with just a fingerprint. After a software update from your authorized dealer, you will be able to open and lock the Dual-Safe safe using your fingerprint. This makes BURG-WÄCHTER currently the only manufacturer that can offer a certified, biometric opening method (ECB•S-certified, lock class A after update). Your major advantage: You can lose a key or forget the opening code. But you always have your finger with you! A total of 20 fingerprints are available for opening the safe. Of course, the technology features “Fake Finger Detection” (live fingerprint recognition).
