With ECB•S and VdS-monitored security and certified burglary protection according to EN 1143-1 with resistance grade 0 (N), the Karat offers you peace of mind.The practical solution for optimal space utilizationThe Karat wall safe offers variable depth. With its adjustable safe body, you have the depth for filing folders when fully extended, providing ample space for important documents. The shelf adapts to any depth. It is also adjustable, making it easier to organize and store your valuables.Flame-cutting resistant materialThe housing frame of the Karat 614 and 616 wall safes is made of fire-resistant stainless steel. The safe not only reliably protects your valuables from theft, but also from fire and heat thanks to the fire-resistant material integrated into the door (compliant with DIN 4102-A1) and the fire seal around the entire body.Additional reinforcement reliably protects the doorThe wall safe's door features a double-walled construction and additional protective reinforcements. The door panel is made of solid, 7 mm thick SM steel. The door is locked on three sides with robust square bolts. The locking bolts at the top and bottom have an integrated steel roller, providing exceptional additional protection against forced entry by cutting, drilling, and punching. A continuous anti-pry bar on the hinge side further enhances resistance to break-in attempts. The 614 and 616 series offer an additional security feature: a thermal emergency locking system.You have a choice when it comes to the locking system!The Wantresor Karat is available with two different locking systems: the classic key and the electronic combination lock with fingerprint recognition. The mechanical lock uses the armored, high-security double-bitted lock "SecuSafe." This lock is reversible, making it a highly practical solution should a key be lost.The reversible "SecuSafe" lock protects against key loss.In case of loss, the lock can be immediately reprogrammed using a separately available key set. Your advantage: No need for a complicated and expensive replacement of the entire lock – the problem is solved with just a few practiced steps.The Karat safe lock features 10 tumblers, 50 million different key combinations, and a forced locking mechanism that prevents key removal until the safe door is properly closed. It is VdS-tested (Class 2) and EN 1300 ECB•S-certified (Class B). Please note that the lock mechanism protrudes 3 mm.New electronic system “SecuTronic” scores points with comfort and safety.The Karat wall safe is also available with an electronic opening system. The modern "SecuTronic" TRSE 12 H FP safe electronics system boasts sophisticated features for security and convenience. The control panel features an angled touchscreen with a graphic display. To activate it, simply swipe briefly across the "On" button. The control panel is then ready for use and illuminated in two colors. Furthermore, the angled design ensures optimal visibility from above. You can freely choose your own opening code, with one admin code and nine user codes available. The opening history can also be viewed directly on the display.Safe opening via fingerprintcompletely new feature is the ability to open the safe with just a fingerprint. After a software update from your authorized dealer, you will be able to open and close the Karat safe using your fingerprint. This makes BURG-WÄCHTER currently the only manufacturer to offer a certified biometric opening method (ECB•S certified, lock class A after the update).Its major advantage: You can lose a key or forget the access code. But you always have your finger with you! A total of 20 fingerprints are available for opening the safe. Naturally, the technology features "fake finger detection" (live finger detection).Further security componentsThe "SecuTronic" TRSE 12 H FP electronic lock features an opening delay (max. 99 minutes). This means that after entering the correct code, the programmed time elapses before the safe can be opened. A lockout period is activated after three incorrect code entries. This prevents burglars from trying numerous combinations. Furthermore, Karat wall safes can be optionally connected to an alarm system or alarm notification system. All these features further enhance your security! This touch-sensitive electronics are used in the WT 614 E FP and WT 616 E FP models.The recommended insurance coverage is up to €40,000 for private use and up to €10,000 for commercial use.
